More information on GTA 6 and new screenshots will be revealed next week as part of a Game Informer issue all about the next Rockstar open worlder.

The two protagonists, Jason and Lucia, are on the front cover with yet another stylised image of them in a car equipped with guns. "Our 14-page cover story features exclusive interviews with Rockstar Games, plus a dozen new screenshots," the outlet teased today. The issue is out on Tuesday, 29th September 2026.

The interviews and fresh information covers aspects like the "advanced" weather system, the wildlife, and how Rockstar went about researching Miami and Florida to create "the most culturally and aesthetically accurate and lifelike world to date".

Funnily enough, GTA fans got themselves in a twist earlier this year when they thought a Game Informer issue was going to feature the game — it actually turned out to be The Blood of Dawnwalker. Now, a handful of months later, that Game Informer cover is actually a reality.
