The Eternal Life of Goldman Still Stuns in Latest Trailer, But Where's the Release Date?

I've been really looking forward to The Eternal Life of Goldman ever since its initial announcement. It looks absolutely gorgeous whenever it shows up, and that includes the brand new trailer just released by publisher THQ Nordic.

Take a look at the new vid below, which shows some work-in-progress drawings compared to the final in-game assets. It goes to show the amount of work it takes to present a game like this.

That being said, this game was announced over two years ago now, and it feels like we're still no closer to a release date.

Perhaps I went into this trailer expecting too much, but I'm a little disappointed that it didn't end with a concrete date.

Obviously I understand and appreciate the huge effort being made behind the scenes — I just wonder if the game was perhaps announced a little early. It happens!

Anyway, I'm loving how the game looks, and having also played the demo on PS5, I'm very confident this will be well worth playing whenever it does arrive. If you're curious about Goldman, definitely check out the demo.
