Recovering Balatro Players Should Probably Stay Away from CloverPit, Coming to PS5 Next Month 1

If you're into endlessly replayable roguelikes that are all about racking up crazy high scores using various synergies and perks, CloverPit has probably been on your radar.

It's been available on PC since September of last year, where it has over 12,000 "Very Positive" Steam reviews. It's since been ported to Xbox and mobile, and between those three platforms has reached 5 million players.

Now, it's been announced the roguelike slot machine game is heading to more platforms, launching on PS5 and PS4 on 13th August, 2026.

Those who like games such as Balatro may be interested in this one. It's a roguelike game with horror vibes, in which you must use a cursed slot machine to repay your debt, or you'll fall to your death.

While it initially doesn't pay out all that much, you can use over 150 lucky charms and other items and bonuses to influence the odds, change what symbols appear, and increase the prize money.

As you'd expect from a game like this, there are lots of opportunities to find items that work well together and break the game's rules, resulting in seriously huge scores.

CloverPit has been "fully optimised" for PS5 and PS4, and includes all post-launch updates. A DLC pack named Unholy Fusion, which adds even more charms and even a new ending, will be available for purchase day and date with the main game's release.
