by A free PS5 update for Silent Hill F has added the option to customise protagonist Hinako with a new costume inspired by the main character of the recent Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake.
Live now, the outfit can be equipped at any Hokora in the game via the Change Costume tab.
Both games represent strong survival horror experiences on PS5, as we gave each title a 7/10 upon their release.
"Silent Hill F takes the survival horror series in a new direction, which pays off for the most part. It’s quite different, and hardcore fans will have to accept that. Combat is a heavy focus, and the move to Japan means there’s a different kind of tone and atmosphere in the air," is what I said about Silent Hill F when I reviewed the game last year.
As for the Fatal Frame 2 remake, we concluded: "Team Ninja has somehow managed to make an already terrifying game even more so, turning Minakami Village into a visually striking and tense playground for fear. The Camera Obscura combat remains novel and unique, but clunky controls and some drawn-out encounters can frustrate."
