Phasmophobia, Alan Wake Excite Horror Fans with Mysterious Crossover Event on PS5

Crossovers are relatively common these days, but sometimes they can still surprise. We couldn't have predicted this pairing, for example: Phasmophobia and Alan Wake.

Yes, the two horror titles are crossing paths in an upcoming event.

The ghost-hunting co-op game is playing host to the event, named Phasmophobia by Alan Wake, and it's set to kick off on 12th May, 2026.

The event is currently shrouded in mystery, as basically zero details have been revealed prior to the event's arrival.

Here's what developer Kinetic Games says about it all:

"Ghost Hunters, The Dark Place envelops Phasmophobia when Phasmophobia by Alan Wake, a limited time in-game event created in partnership with Remedy Games, comes to the game on May 12th, 2026.

We're so excited to be collaborating directly with Remedy on this one time event, and can't wait for you to experience what's in store.

We'll share more details on the event closer to launch, but until then, stay in the light."

So, it seems Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind Alan Wake, is involved in the event to some degree, but it seems we'll have to wait until closer to the time before we learn more about what exactly it entails.

Still, it's a cool crossover, and makes sense for two horror worlds to collide.
