Housemarque has announced that it's upcoming shooter, Saros, has gone gold.
A game "going gold" essentially means work on the 1.0 version is complete, and that it's ready to roll when launch day comes.
That day for Saros is 30th April 2026, and we imagine these last few weeks will be spent squashing pesky bugs for a day one patch.
The roguelite sci-fi action shooter was originally planned for launch on 20th March, but was pushed back just over a month. Fortunately, with the core game now completed, it seems there won't be any further delays.
Excitement has been steadily building for the game as we've slowly seen more gameplay and trailers.
A recent round of previews has perhaps shone the brightest light on Saros, with many members of the press extremely positive after playing for several hours.
Fortunately, it's now only a few more weeks before we can all play for ourselves.
