In case you missed it, Thomas and Friends: Wonders of Sodor was announced recently, and it's a dream come true for Thomas fans young and old.
Developer Dovetail Games — the same team behind Train Sim World — has now confirmed a release date, and it's very close. You'll be able to visit the island of Sodor starting 17th March 2026 on PS5 and PS4.

It focuses on Percy, the little green engine and one of Thomas' friends, of course. He's one of several playable characters; the others include Gordon, Diesel, Emily, and Thomas himself.
James is also playable, but is paid DLC (or included in the Deluxe Edition).
The game itself lets you explore the island and its railway system, giving you stories to follow with objectives to complete, specific challenges to conquer, and collectibles to find.
Narrated by Mark Moraghan, the game is a real nostalgia trip for anyone who grew up with the books and TV show, and it's of course perfect for young players too.
