Publisher Atari and developer Graphite Lab have just dropped RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic on PS5, bringing the grandaddy of all theme park management sims to Sony's console.

This rendition of the beloved game is a remaster of both RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 and 2, initially released in 2016 for mobile devices, then subsequently ported to PC and Switch. 10 years since its first arrival, the game is now finally available on PS5.

As mentioned, Classic is a combination of all the best bits from the first two RollerCoaster Tycoon games, including expansion packs Toolkit, Wacky Worlds, and Time Twister.

For the uninitiated, your objective is to build an amusement park to entice guests, grow it with new rides and other attractions, and maintain it with various staff, keeping it clean and safe. All being well, your profits will soar and your park will be overflowing with customers.

It's a seminal management sim, of course inspiring many other titles, such as Planet Coaster.
