One of the highlights from the early PS5 years, Kena: Bridge of Spirits is expanding its horizons once more with a newly confirmed Nintendo Switch 2 version. This puts the fan-favourite game, which will receive a sequel later this year, on the hybrid system.
However, for developer Ember Lab, the launch will likely represent quite a bit more.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits was the first game Ember Lab ever made, but before that, it was creating short-form videos on YouTube. The one that put it on the map was a tribute to The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, getting it over 15 million views since 2016. With an obvious love for Nintendo, the Switch 2 port marks a full-circle moment for Ember Lab as it actually publishes a game on a Nintendo console. Here's the original video:
This is a complete version of Kena: Bridge of Spirits that packages the base game alongside the Anniversary DLC and a New Game+ mode. It launches for Nintendo Switch 2 in Spring 2026.
