Some Fans Think Fatal Fury PS5, PS4 Is Delivering Better Street Fighter Content Than SF6 1

If there’s one criticism of Street Fighter 6, which is an outstanding game, it’s that post-release content has been fairly slow to roll out.

To be fair, the Capcom fighter has some pretty impressive production values, which makes adding things like new stages and costumes pretty time consuming.

But it doesn’t look good when Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is seemingly beating it in its own backyard.

Next week, 26th February, will mark the release of Nightmare Geese, as part of the game’s Season 2 cycle.

As with all new characters in the SNK fighter, you’ll be able to take on his Arcade mode, test him out online, and bring him into the RPG-inspired Episodes of South Town, where you’ll be able to experience more of his story.

But that’s not all: every single copy of the game will be updated with new Street Fighter content for free. This includes new outfits for Rock and Preecha, inspired by Luke and Juri respectively.

In addition, you’ll find a new Episodes of South Town storyline involving villain JP, which will include battles against some famous faces, including Carlos Miyamoto from Final Fight 2 and, yes, the Refrigerator from Street Fighter 6.

A new boss, Kage Terry – or Shadow Terry – will conclude the plot, although do keep in mind that he won’t be playable at this point in time.

So, there’s absolutely tons to look forward to here, and Fatal Fury fans are absolutely feasting right now.
