Epic Games has officially lifted the lid on Fortnite's crossover event with South Park, and it looks like a great new event for fans.
You can catch a glimpse at what this 'Born in Chaos' event has to offer in the announcement trailer, which kicks things off with a great animated short showing how the characters end up in the free-to-play shooter:
The collab introduces Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman, and Butters as playable skins, available in the in-game store. They're all wearing special suits unique to each character.
Towelie is also included as a Sidekick.
You'll be able to explore Cartmanland, which will include plenty of references to the show, and even to previous South Park games; the Stick of Truth itself is even present.
Notably, the event debuts Quints — a new playlist in which you can play in groups of five. It'll only be active from when the event starts on 9th January to the 5th February. Whether it returns in future probably depends on how popular it is during this South Park collab.

Gotta admit. As a huge South Park fan, this looks awesome.
I'll unfortunately be falling for the Towlie sidekick and parting with my existing VBucks 😅
5 player squads is the most exciting part though as we always have to split 3/2 or one of us sit out completely when playing, so this is great news.
I don't play Fortnite, but this looks fun! I'd love to see a full Fortnite episode like that old WoW one.
I never play Fortnite but their collaborations are always the most polished ones comparing to other live service titles on the market.
