Weighing in at a chunky 8.9GB on PS5, Title Update 4 for Monster Hunter Wilds is available to download now.
This is arguably the game's biggest update yet, as it attempts to expand and improve the experience pretty much across the board.
There's a new creature to fight — the elder dragon Gogmazios — the endgame grind has been rounded out with fresh armaments, your armour sets can be upgraded even further, weapons have been buffed, even more missions have been added, new quality of life improvements have been implemented, and we've even been granted performance boosts (finally) via better optimisation. Phew.

It's taken close to a year to get here, but it does feel like Wilds is turning an all-important corner. Opinions of the title have been up and down for months, but Title Update 4's packed with the kind of enhancements that players have been asking for.
