Juggernaut anime-style hero shooter game Fate Trigger will make a splash on PS5 in Early Access next year.
The game – from Saroasis Studio – is a free-to-play competitive shooter with a very distinctive art style. Consider it a crossover of, say, Overwatch and Zenless Zone Zero.
Crossplay with PC will be an option, but you’ll be able to toggle it off if you want to retain the balance of playing against console-only players.
Regardless of who you choose to play with, there’ll be cross-platform progression across all devices, so you’ll be able to take your progress with you wherever you play.

The dev also says it’s put specific work into tuning the controls for the DualSense, both in terms of button layout and feature support:
“Each hero now features a refined, customizable control layout, while intuitive navigation, quick commands, and smooth cursor movement make menu interaction effortless. This also extends to support for key PlayStation features including adaptive triggers, advanced vibration feedback, and gyro aiming, for a more immersive, lifelike experience that brings every shot and battle to life.”
Expect this one to be pretty big, particularly in Asia, when it launches next year.
