The Witch’s Bakery wears its inspiration on its sleeve, and that’s no bad thing.
From the magical cat to the retro hand animated vibes, this upcoming PS5 effort is effectively Kiki’s Delivery Service in Paris – but with more pretzels than parcels.
The game – due out in 2026 – is being described by Sunny Lab Games as a “magical adventure RPG” where you “heal hearts one croissant at a time”.

Playing as sorceress Lunne, the release will serve as a slice-of-life where you cure the emotions of your hungry patrons using artisanal pastries.
You’ll live day-to-day as the joyful witch, kneading bread and exploring the idyllic streets of Paris. Some budget constraints aside, it all looks delightful.
The game will progress over three phases, as described in the press release:
- Daytime, where Lunne manages her bakery and serves clients with her team of friends.
- Evening, where Lunne explores Paris, builds relationships, discovers the city’s secrets and goes inside her friends’ troubled heart.
- Night, where Lunne rests, improves her magic, decorates her bakery, and spends time in her cosy atelier.
It all looks lovely, doesn’t it? We’re really enjoying the Ghibli-esque vibes and those gorgeous Parisian views. We can almost taste the macarons from here!
The game’s available to wishlist on the PS Store now, so be sure to do that if you’re interested in this when it releases. As we said previously, there’s no date attached, but this is surely one to keep an eye on.
