The hype cycle is underway for next year’s Summer Game Fest, which will stream live from 5th June, 2026.
The event will be hosted from a new location this time: the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Previous broadcasts have been presented from the YouTube Theatre, which has double the audience capacity.
While it’s far too early to speculate about what kind of software will be on display, host Geoff Keighley says to expect “a spectacular, cross-platform showcase of what’s next in video games”.

Sony usually participates in these shows to some extent, but it’ll often also hold a State of Play during the summer, where it includes most of its biggest reveals. We’d expect no different next year.
