Beloved, but undeniably hardcore strategy RPG Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord will soon be taking to the sea.
Its previously announced War Sails expansion now has a confirmed release date, launching on the 26th November across all platforms — including PS5. Remember, Bannerlord was ported to Sony's system three whole years ago.
Developer TaleWorlds' incredibly in-depth title is already massive, which makes the scale of this DLC all the more impressive. As the name suggests, War Sails brings naval warfare to the game, subsequently expanding the existing map.
Basically, Bannerlord's structure is being reshaped through this expansion. There's obviously an entirely new aspect to battle, since you'll be able to establish your own fleet of ships, and this'll impact the title's trading and diplomacy systems.

The expansion's going to be priced at $24.99 / €24.99, and as you'd perhaps expect, it'll drop alongside a big update. We assume the official patch notes will be published in the near future.
