While Star Wars: Galactic Racer has come out to glowing reviews, something that's quickly become cause for concern among players is the game's multiplayer offering. Thankfully, it seems the developer is already on the case.

There are a couple of things relating to the game's online modes that are coming up again and again among fan feedback.

Firstly, if you want to party up with friends to race online, you can currently only do so in groups of up to three, with bots or other random players filling in the rest of the starting grid.

Secondly, Galactic Racer does not currently have an option to set up a private lobby or create a custom game.

These are the most common requests, and it seems the team at Fuse Games is paying attention. It's been responding to many of the people looking for these options with a positive update:

The studio has stated it will be looking to increase the maximum party size from three to six players, and this is planned to be added to the game "within the first few weeks of launch."

With regards to private/custom lobbies, a post on the game's Discord assures that the team is "listening and looking at how people want to play."

I think the fact Fuse Games is already working on doubling the party size is a good sign that it'll be supporting the game nicely. Here's hoping Galactic Racer can improve in this area, as it's a winner in basically every other way.
