Capcom has announced a free content update for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy that will add a bunch of fun extra features.
As shown in the trailer, the update will introduce several modes and features that are already present in later Ace Attorney collections:
Back when the Phoenix Wright trilogy arrived in 2019, it was a pretty straightforward remaster of the three games, with no big bells and whistles to speak of.
In later collections, such as the Apollo Justice trilogy and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, a range of extracurricular features were added to the offering.
Now, Capcom is retroactively adding these same features to Phoenix's collection, setting things right at last.
Releasing as an update for the game on 19th November 2025, it'll receive the following:
- Gallery Mode, where you can view artwork and listen to music from across the trilogy
- Scene Editor, which lets you combine characters, scenes, animations, and more to create bespoke scenarios
- Episode Selection, allowing you to choose specific points to play in each case
- The ability to customise voiceover and text settings separately (Japanese VO with English text, for instance)
- Story Mode, which essentially plays the game for you
- Two new languages supported: Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese
It's a pretty hefty update, especially considering it's free, and good to see Capcom still supporting the Ace Attorney titles.
All that's really left to do now is make a new one, right?

That’s great that the original trilogy now has the extra stuff seen in the later collection. I’ll probably mess with it once the update drops.
Now Ace Attorney 7?
