Battlefield 6 exploded onto the scene this summer with a huge multiplayer reveal event and a massively popular open beta test, but it'll soon be the single player campaign put in the spotlight.
According to the official timetable for Tokyo Game Show 2025, publisher EA is planning a Single Player Live Showcase, which will be broadcast on 26th September.
Here's the blurb about the slot:
"The developers and English voice actors of Battlefield 6 introduce the upcoming first-person shooter, including a look at the single-player story mode. Featuring executive special producer Phillipe Ducharme and senior creative director Roman Campos-Oriola."

The showcase runs from 1pm to 2pm Japan time, meaning an hour's worth of new information and footage focusing on the campaign.
All we really know about it so far is that it takes place in the year 2027 and depicts a war between remaining NATO members and a private military company named Pax Armata.
If you want to watch along, you'll be able to do so via the TGS YouTube channel, where other events will also be livestreamed.

Been lucky to get access to the new closed Beta this weekend. Can't wait to see if and what changes are made / added
@Frmknst do you ever get bored of spouting such bollocks?
this feels like a weird game to show off at the toyko game show tbh.
@twitchtvpat Battlefield was actually pretty popular in Japan when 3 and 4 came out. I remember seeing soldier tags celebrating players from Japan in these games. I believe DICE and EA really want to make the push to showcase Battlefield in Japan and the surrounding regions (China, Korea, Singapore) again since V and 2042 didn’t pan out too well there. They already showed off with their own events and have hooked the western audiences, so why not showcase the game to get the Asian audiences hyped at TGS?
@ChrisEvrLiving i mean i get it , i just find it weird imo but if thats their goal then go for it.
@twitchtvpat how is it weird if I may ask?
@twitchtvpat probably just because its the last gameshow there is before the game launches? It'll be a few weeks til its out after TGS
