Tales of Remaster Summer 2025

For quite some time now, Bandai Namco has been reiterating its intentions to release more remastered Tales of games, and it looks like we're on the cusp of learning what's next.

As teased on social media, a remastered project is being announced this very summer. "We have some big news coming..." reads the official Tales of account.

The key questions, then, are what and when. The what is the hard part; there are still loads of old Tales of titles that haven't been revived yet, but the names we always see thrown about are Tales of Xillia and its sequel, Tales of Xillia 2.

Rumours of a remastered duology have been doing the rounds for ages, with a supposed leak of the collection happening around this time last year.

But we wouldn't say anything is guaranteed at this point. Xillia seems like an obvious choice for loads of reasons — but as mentioned, there are plenty of other Tales of adventures that could be brought back instead.

As for when this might happen, well... It's worth reminding everyone that the Xbox Games Showcase is up later today (at the time of writing). We'll have to wait and see.
