Publisher Focus Entertainment has announced Road Kings, a trucking simulation game from Saber Interactive.
Saber is also behind titles such as SnowRunner, Expeditions, and RoadCraft, and we presume it's the same team handling this truck sim.
Here's the cinematic announcement trailer:
As you'd expect, the game has you progress from a rookie driver to a seasoned pro with their own haulage empire in the American South.

No gameplay is shown in the trailer, but it sounds like you'll be performing delivery drives, managing your business, and competing with rivals, as well as battling the elements.
Road Kings challenges you to manage routes, cargo, and client demands in a world where the journey shapes your career. Drive long distances in faithfully recreated branded trucks, and explore biomes filled with rich detail, iconic landmarks, and unpredictable challenges.
A handful of screenshots has also been released, showing off how you're able to upgrade your trucks and how adverse weather will impact your jobs.
It's interesting timing; Road Kings isn't the only high profile trucking game heading to PS5 in the near future.
Recently, it was leaked that SCS Software's Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator are both bound for PS5. This pair of games really popularised not only truck sims, but job simulators more generally.
Anyway, Saber's upcoming take on the subject could be great, but we'll need to see some proper gameplay first.

It will be hard to get their foot in doors when ETS2 and ATS are coming to consoles aswell likely in 2026.
Maybe they should've called it Roadrunner to keep with the Mud and Snow themes
If it is as good as it looks, it will be a good complementary game to ATS and ETS. Saber has created some very impressive vehicle and terrain-related games in the past. They also have the benefit of licensed vehicles (a Peterbilt truck in the trailer). I have been playing ATS and ETS for years on my gaming laptop, but I have never played Road Kings.
I never really played a game like this. But this looks pretty awesome.
This and that crane game are day one for me. I love the Saber games!
