Shuhei Yoshida's podcast victory lap continues with an appearance on the Easy Allies podcast, where he heaped praise on Sucker Punch Productions and its upcoming game, Ghost of Yotei.

As the game is brought up, the former PlayStation executive only has glowing things to say about the studio.

"Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch always make the game feel right," Yoshida enthuses. "You forget you're holding the controller because it feels so natural and intuitive to play."

Speaking more specifically about the latter, he says Sucker Punch "somehow, always from the very early stages of development, has a playable [build]" which is "kind of bug-free" and never crashes.

Yoshida continues, saying he played "so many different versions of Ghost of Tsushima and Ghost of Yotei" while he was still with the company.

"Every time I visited the studio, even though I'd left the [first party team], the producer of the game brought me into his room and let me try Ghost of Yotei in development. He wanted my feedback, and it always felt great."

Ghost of Yotei is slated for release in 2025, though we've seen very little of it so far. Presumably it'll get put in the spotlight as we approach its launch later in the year.
