If you've been living under a rock, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is out today on PS5 via a free Gen9 upgrade. That is to say, all players can look forward to new costumes, a photo mode, and general improvements when they next venture to Bikini Bottom, with those on PS5 getting additional DualSense support.
Two new costumes have been added for players to work towards. King Doubloon and Plush Gary are awarded for collecting enough coins and unlocking all awards, respectively. What you do with them is your call, as we can't imagine there is much game left to be explored at that point, but a newly added photo mode means you can share these accomplishments with the world.
