That sale price for for TLOU part 1 though - still £10 more expensive than I can easily find a pre-order for the PC version (as in, without resorting to cheap PSN credit shenanigans)

For anyone who hasn't played what remains of Edith Finch, it's an amazing game and on ps plus extra.

Yeah, that's me buying The Last of Us Part 1, then. I actually just hit 1.000 stars yesterday, so that will help a little as well.

Finally snagged The Last of Us remastered, will play it now (after Witcher 3) for the first time and buy the remake in two years for a second playthrough

@Gamer_Guy I mean, I could quite easily get it for that by buying it on a turkish storefront for Steam as well - I deliberately only compared legitimate means of buying the game for UK consumers, rather than advocate a practice that only pushes up the prices for poorer countries

Digital prices in the UK are often a scam.

Grabbed Thymesia for some Soulsborne action. Really good so far and does enough different to stand on its own in the combat department. Cool little game.

Renting the last of us part 1 currently....very glad I didn't buy for it....it's ridiculously priced

59.99 is not a bargain for TLOU part 1. Lol

Nothing on my wishlist is on sale, though, admittedly, the vast majority of it is games that have yet to release. Still, I'm hoping The Last Of Us part 2 goes back on sale for $9.99. I didn't pull the trigger on it when I saw it at that price a sale or two ago and I knew I should have. :-/

@Grimwood Not sure you're thinking that though correctly. Game prices ALWAYS decrease over time. As just one example, TLOU pt. 2 was $59.99 MSRP when it released and now is $39.99 MSRP. Publishers don't expect games to hold their initial MSRP over time. Ever. Some may have a stronger shelf-life to their initial MSRP (COD titles are a good example), but ALL will come down in price the longer they are out. Another example? Bloodborne. Initial MSRP was $59.99, now it's $19.99. Jus' sayin'....... Besides, I was referring to a sale price so I'm not entirely sure where your comment came from?

I’m sorry PS but you’re not being sensitive to the current state of the economy and many peoples wallets when you say £52 is a bargain for a remake of a 10 year plus old game. I’m not looking for a ban but I do think you do owe a little restraint and balance between your just love for all things PlayStation and the loyal users that keep it alive.

Well this is odd. I would love to play Shin Chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation, but the game is not available in the PS Store of my region (Netherlands). Does anyone know more about this?

TLOU: P1 is literally the same price as when it was first released, I believe. Sony is truly capitalizing on it but it's a benefit to bring more players into TLOU universe I guess. I don't approve of the current price even with a discount.

Presumably the bargain for TLOU is the remaster? £52.49 is not a bargain. I picked this up physically for £36.99 (actually £31 with a gift card) months ago.

TLOU Part 1 is MORE expensive (on sale right now) than Elden Ring at LAUNCH in my region. Sony can fek off with their ridiculous prices

I may pull the trigger on TLOU P1R when it’s 40€ or less. It’s 59€ now with the discount. I bought but still haven’t played the remaster and the part 2. I enjoy the show but I’m thinking to skip it to avoid more spoilers
