Social trickery and subterfuge titles are all the rage nowadays after Among Us lit the world on fire during lockdown, and Deceive Inc looks like another one hoping to spot the imposter in the act. Releasing for PS5 on 21st March 2023, it tasks up to 12 players — playing alone or in up to teams of three — with going undercover as an NPC and trying to extract a piece of cargo. Along the way, they need to keep up their own disguise and work out who the other real players are. Take a look at the trailer above.

Sweet Bandit Studios provides more context and details over on the PlayStation Blog, where it reveals a free open beta will take place from 10th March 2023 featuring crossplay. While it's not confirmed how many playable characters will be part of the pre-launch test, there will be eight in the full game. All have different starting weapon and archetypes, ensuring there'll be a character for every playstyle.

Pre-ordering the game bags you some bonus outfits and equipment ink while a Black Tie Edition bundles in a bit of premium currency.
