Undisputed PS5 PS4 PlayStation PLAION

The outrageously promising eSports Boxing Club has been picked up by publisher PLAION, with the game renamed to Undisputed. This knock out sim, developed by UK studio Steel City Interactive, has been generating hype ever since it was first announced, thanks to its stunning visuals and ground-breaking gameplay mechanics. It’ll officially release on PS5 and PS4 at an unannounced date.

“Boasting an unprecedented roster of fighters, Undisputed will have over 50 fighters playable on day one, including Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk, Deontay Wilder, and Katie Taylor,” the press release reads. “It will also partner with all of the heavy-weight brands in boxing, including the World Boxing Council, the British Boxing Board of Control, Empire, and many more.”

Unsurprisingly, PLAION is pretty hyped to have picked up the product. “We’re always on the lookout for great studios to partner with and Steel City Interactive brought a very exciting game to our doorstep. One with the potential to deliver a truly authentic boxing experience to gaming fans all over the world. Undisputed is another great addition to our roster of unique titles we’re proud to be working on.”

While there are rumours of a new Fight Night in development at EA Sports, it looks like Undisputed is going to beat the juggernaut to the punch. And if it can live up to the expectations that pre-release trailers have helped build, this could end up being one of the best sports sims on Sony’s systems when it eventually arrives.
