Developer ATLUS is releasing a free update for JRPG Soul Hackers 2, which is slated to come to the game in early November. It introduces new demons to battle and recruit, alongside some excellent quality-of-life features that should speed up the grind a little bit.
Four new demons will be introduced: Aitvaras, Isis, Neko Shogun, and the fan-favourite Pixie. A Dash function is being added, which will allow Ringo to move through dungeons at a pace quicker than a light jog. In addition, High-Speed Battle Mode will allow players to blitz through the more basic battles with greater ease.
On top of that, changes are being made to speed up load times, fast travel will now take you directly into a shop (instead of just outside of it), and the frequency of enemy appearances in dungeons is being dialled down. These are all nice improvements and should make for a smoother gameplay experience in general.

Auto battles and speed ups are literally the best thing introduced in JRPGs in recent memory, I played through Final Fantasy pixel remaster and it probably saved me a solid 5 hours!
Im playing smt3 remaster after just playing this game. I got to say the old smt games make the new ones look like a cake walk in comparison.
The slow pace of movement of your character was a source of pain for me. The game is okay. Not at the level of Persona 5 and really more a dungeon crawler affair.
Oh that's good news, was planning on buying it soonish.
Sounds good. Still kinda interested in this, same with Star Ocean. If these JRPGs wouldn't such time monsters.
I already finished this one but these are some great improvements! Will be nice to have some of these whenever I get around to a second playthrough. A solid Atlus RPG. Sure not as great as P5 but P5 is a masterpiece. You aren't going to get something on that level everyday!
good thing this game in on hold. I wait for this update start playing again. A lot of these things are needed.
