Does anyone remember War of the Monsters, or is that just a deep cut that’d be the million dollar question in some kind of PlayStation trivia quiz? Anyway, GigaBash looks a lot like War of the Monsters – in fact, the developer even namedrops it in their PS Blog post on the project. It’s coming to the PlayStation 5 and PS4, and it sees you controlling kaijus in a frantic multiplayer experience.

You’ll be able to play both locally and online, and will be able to take control of ten different titans in fully destructible environments. There’ll even be a single player campaign, where you’ll be able to learn about the monsters – presumably as you smash the release’s maps to smithereens! Check out the trailer above – it could be fun.

like a KING OF THE MONSTERS(SNK / 1991)
It mostly looks like Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee as TAS the only good 4 player Godzilla game I can remember. War of the Monsters was great, nice single player story mode. Save th Earth on PS2 was also really good. Unleashed on Wii was a broken wiggle mess. Less sad about Godzilla on PS4 the better. Or was that PS3 and PS4 fixed it? Maybe I should find the PS4 version.
Anyway thus looks grest, glad it isn't another 2D Rampage game, my a fan of those but I buy those as well. Maybe not day 1 but a soon thereafter sale.👍
I remember War of the Monsters! My brother and I rented it a bunch from Blockbuster... Does anyone remember Blockbuster? 😂
I'm slightly interested, depends on if there's a solo mode!
