GTA Trilogy has attracted its fair share of criticism for its ugly character models, unsightly rain, and array of bugs and glitches – but it does have one redeeming feature: Big Head Mode. Discovered in the remasters, this 90s staple is included across all three releases, and is accessed by entering the Konami code. For those of you who didn’t grow up in arcades, that’s the following command:
- Big Head Mode: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Circle, X
Using this cheat, like any others, does disable Trophies, so make sure you’re on a new save before inputting it. Feels like this Trilogy should never have happened. The original collection was good as is with their comic-book-looking faces. These just look too shiny and plastic.

I won't even give them that considering they already said to have removed many cheats from all three games so yeah 🤷
Devs, please, the base games are horrific enough on its own.
Honestly, the trilogy deserved so much better than this two bit studio pushing out the laziest of reskins on a shoestring budget. It's incredible how brazen they were. I'm sticking to the PS2 versions that were available for PS4 previously - Rockstar was kind enough to give advanced warning of them being pulled from the store so I could still grab them.
I'll play this butchered set of remasters when a discount of at least 75% has been applied. Pre-owned physical copy in 2024, here I come.
Ah big head mode. That'll make all those drawbacks worth it!

On this note, do the classic cheats still work in general for these? Like flying cars and jetpack for SA?
Why on earth do funny cheats like this disable trophies??? R* really do know how to suck the fun out of everything don’t they 🙄
