Epic Games is beginning preparation for its next big in-game Fortnite event on 6th August 2021, with update 17.21 now deployed to get the Battle Royale island ready for the show. It all kicks off at 3:05pm PT / 6:05pm ET / 11:05pm BST on the aforementioned date, but if you're in need of a reminder whilst gunning for first place, a big countdown timer is now placed in the middle of the map. Previous shows hosted in Fortnite include a performance from rapper Travis Scott and the airing of various Christopher Nolan flicks, so this upcoming event should be well worth tuning in for.
As Eurogamer reports, recent leaks point towards an upcoming Ariana Grande concert in the game, so it's possible this is what Epic Games is working towards next week. Fortnite almost always puts on an impressive spectacle, however, meaning this new show will probably be worth the long wait since the last one. We'll be sure to cover whatever happens.

How the hell kids in U.K. supposed to enjoy this at 11pm?
@Angelus3K Yeah it’s ridiculous. At least it’s the summer holidays so my Nephew’s will be allowed to stay up as a one off. Or watch it on YouTube (but it’s not really the same).

If your child is old enough to play Fortnite, then i'm sure 11 pm should not be an issue. I mean come-on, I can see a gripe about 3 in the morning, but 11 pm...really??

@CHARLIE145 I know it’s rated 12 in the UK but we all know kids younger than that play Fortnite. My two Nephew’s and their mates are in the 7-10 range and they all play. Have done for a couple of years now.
If it was a school night they’d have to miss it but 11PM is fine during the school holidays.
I think most of the actual 12 year olds are probably playing GTA V Online 🤷
@fR_eeBritney As a fan of fortnite am glad that epic had the sense to have this live event on a weekend so that, at least in the usa and the uk, all can watch, no matter if the kids are of age to play or not. My live event time is Friday @ 6pm. A far, more convenient time to watch than 11pm, but 11 pm still isnt that bad...unless of course bed time for kids in the uk is at 10
My daughter is 7 and wouldn’t last till 11pm lol. She’s actually better than me on the game and as a life long gamer I’d say I’m pretty good at it.
