Resident Evil Village - 7th May

Resident Evil Village — or Resident Evil 8 — is almost upon us. Set after the events of the previous game, Ethan Winters and his wife are living in peace in a new home, but of course, things take a sinister turn. With the mysterious Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters awaiting in an enormous castle, this new game looks to be another seriously twisted survival horror experience, and we can't wait.

Biomutant - 25th May

It feels like we've been waiting for Biomutant for eons, but the enigmatic action game from THQ Nordic is almost here. This brand new IP is an open world title in which you play a mutated creature following some sort of apocalypse. It's a colourful game with lots of style, and it appears to have a pretty deep combat system too. This could well be a dark horse in 2021's release schedule.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart - 11th June

The next big PS5 exclusive is just a few short weeks away, and it sees the glorious return of Ratchet & Clank. The action platforming duo is back, and their latest adventure is looking extremely promising. Making full use of PS5's features, like laser-fast loading and the DualSense's fancy haptics, it's shaping up to be a true next-gen showpiece. The dimension-hopping gameplay looks ridiculously good, and mysterious new character Rivet seems like a great addition. We seriously can't wait for this one.
