Sony will ship PlayStation 5 accessories purchased from its PlayStation Direct store this month in the United States, and if you pre-ordered you should have an email from the platform holder confirming as much. If you ordered a console then that may be listed in the correspondence as well, but to be clear this just includes peripherals, such as the DualSense controller, HD Camera, Media Remote, and Pulse 3D Wireless Headset.

It looks like the items will go out on 30th October, meaning they’ll be in your hands long before the console’s release date on 12th November. Of course, it’s always good to get these accessories early, because it means you’ll be able to get setup and playing quicker on day one. It’s unclear whether other retailers will follow suit, but we’ll keep you updated if we hear anything from the likes of GameStop, Target, et al.
