As the first PlayStation 5 console embargo lifts, media outlets and YouTubers primarily in the US are able to unbox the next-gen system itself and reveal what it looks like in real life. The same goes for the PS5 DualSense controller and even the cables you'll use to hook the console up to your TV. We can confirm that Push Square is receiving a PS5 console in the very near future, but it didn't arrive in time to participate with the lifting of this particular embargo. We will provide extensive coverage of all things PS5 henceforth.

So, what do we have? The very first thing you'll see when you open the box is a user's manual, power cable, and the DualSense controller. And then there's the gigantic PS5 system itself along with more goodies such as the stand and USB-C cable. IGN then compares the size of the console to other systems such as the Xbox One, PS2, Nintendo Switch, and a banana. Wait, what?

Do you like the look of the console in the flesh? Let us know in the comments below.
