Yoji Shinkawa, the supremely talented artist best known for his work on the Metal Gear franchise, has crafted an amazing illustration of Ellie, Joel, and Abby to help celebrate The Last of Us Day 2020. Hi there fellow gamers. Shinkawa´s art style is so iconic.
I still remember in the old PS2 days, when there was an anouncement of a new Metal Gear Solid I was always looking forward Shinkawa´s art form of characters and environments.
Shinkawa's most known for his very loose and "flowy" use of ink, giving every illustration an inherent sense of movement. A simple concept but it's a hard one to master.

Shinkawa is just leagues ahead of pretty much any western artist. Him, Yoshitaka Amano, Tetsuya Nomura and Akira Toriyama, godlike.
Fitting this was released today and 3 Metal Gear games were re-released yesterday.
