The current NBA season may finally be on the cusp of its conclusion when the LA Lakers take on the Miami Heat later today, but basketball fans still have plenty to look forward to with the release of NBA 2K21 on the PlayStation 5 later this year. While it won’t come as a massive surprise, 2K Sports has confirmed the title will Euro-step to the next-gen console from 12th November in the United States, Canada, Australia, Mexico, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea. It’ll launch elsewhere on 19th November.

In addition to the release date confirmation, the publisher also debuted what appears to be the first in-game screenshot from the next-gen release, showcasing New Orleans Pelicans power forward Zion Williamson’s sick fade. Remember, if you bought the Mamba Forever Edition of the basketball simulation, then you’ll be eligible for a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade.
