It's well documented that we're big fans of Overcooked here at Push Square Towers, so news that we can play an updated version on PlayStation 5 is most welcome. Yes, Overcooked: All You Can Eat is coming to PS5, and it includes both games as well as all the additional DLC in one huge package.
All You Can Eat remasters the original Overcooked as well as Overcooked 2, meaning you can play everything on PS5 at 4K and 60 frames per second. What's more, the original game will be playable online for the first time, and all content will feature cross-play with other platforms.
The remaster will also include new content: extra levels, chefs, and character skins will be part of the package. New Trophies are thrown into the mix as well for some extra spice. It sounds like a huge meal, but we're up to the challenge.
Will you be setting the table for Overcooked: All You Can Eat on PS5? Put on some loose trousers in the comments section below.

Cool! Glad I skipped the second game waiting for a GOTY edition with all DLC. Definitely going to buy this version instead.
...And I just finished the second game.
Good to hear, no takeaways for a while as I imagine a second Dual Sense for Couch Co-op will be expensive.
Nice package, both are awesome games! Already have em both but this is a great deal for anyone who hasn't played them!
What Team 17 aren't really answering thus far is will the current gen versions be playable on next gen? In theory, they should be via backwards compatibility...but its sounding like this will be a repurchase? Eg: No compatibility patch for the current gen ones or being tested/certified or whatever.
And so it begins... PS4 was flooded with PS3 remasters, and here we are 4 months before release and already PS4 remasters are being announced for PS5.
They are great games but not worth rebuying. Hopefully backwards compatibility allows both to run on PS5, and also the DualShock 4 can be used in multiplayer.
@Topov81 No one is forcing you to buy them if you already have them and played them.I don't have them and haven't played them so instead going out and buy them for the old system, this package is great for me.
In that case, I hope you enjoy them.
@Quintumply would be interesting to hear if Team 17/devs will clarify if the ps4 versions of Overcooked/Overcooked 2,will be playable on ps5? Didn't Sony say between testing older titles,(& though expecting most to work),that some might require updates to work on ps5?
@Robocod Hmm, I can try and reach out to Team 17 but I doubt they'd give me anything concrete.
@Quintumply Yep, they didn't want to answer it on twitter. And they posted on the PS Blog the same press release, but people who owned ps4 gen versions were asking the same question,(or even about a discounted crossbuy option)? Okay, this one adds online coop to the first game, new features/DLC,but its weird they're refusing to confirm if the current gen versions will even be playable?
@Robocod It might be that their hands are tied, so to speak. Can't confirm one way or the other. I'm sure it'll all become clear with time. I understand the frustration, though!
They had to skimp on content if the first title, so would be good to see that planned content finished, mostly multiplayer maps (also no Maps from the DLC content made it to multiplayer after their release for some reason) and some characters. I had the first on Switch with it's 2 DLCs but sold it when I got the second game as it's just much better and has way more content.
