If a job exists, there's almost certainly a game related to it in some way. It was only a matter of time until someone gamified the noble profession of traffic control, and here we are with a daft-looking virtual reality title. Traffic Jams is coming to PlayStation VR in September, and puts you in control of vehicles, pedestrians, and other hazards.
In a city where, yes, all the traffic lights are broken, it's up to you to let everyone safely pass through busy junctions. You'll use two PlayStation Move wands to make various commands with your in-game hands, but you must keep an eye on all directions. You can get a better idea in the above trailer, which also goes over the party mode. This lets four other players join the fun by adding even more chaos via their smartphones.
It's not just traffic and slow walkers you'll have to deal with, either. The game will also throw some curveballs at you, with monsters, natural disasters, and even meteors causing mayhem on the streets. It sounds pretty mad, but could definitely be great fun. We'll have to wait and see how it plays later in the year.
What do you think of Traffic Jams? Will you become a virtual traffic controller in PSVR? Walk this way to the comments section below.

Looks fun, but as always with these types of games the real question(s) will be how much and how repetitive does it get and how fast?
But if priced right, looks like a good game to enjoy with the family.
Why? Why I would want to do that? And why is a crossing guard sitting down?
If she stands up, and it's a 4 way intersection and you are in the middle having to direct incoming traffic from 4 different directions, at least that's a start. Maybe start in a small town w/ little traffic, move up to bigger 4 lane roads, maybe even a rotary or 6 roads.
But if you can play this sitting down that 3d game seems 2 dimensional.
