After updating its looter shooter for a full year with free content, Ubisoft's The Division 2 has today delivered its first major expansion. The Division 2: Warlords of New York takes us back to the original game's setting of New York, and if you're interested, you can purchase the piece of DLC on the PlayStation Store right now.
Available at a price of £24.99/$29.99, the expansion revamps its progression system with a new level cap of 40. A host of new missions will take you through a campaign with the objective of taking down Aaron Keener, while the endgame has been expanded to take advantage of three-month seasons that should provide more new content than ever. Along with new exotic weapons, armour, and skills to take advantage of, it sounds like a meaty addition to the looter shooter.
We'll have a review here on Push Square as soon as possible, but in the meantime, have you checked out The Division 2: Warlords of New York? Share your initial impressions in the comments below.

I've been playing the division 2 on pc since a couple of days ago, man the game is super fun, I think after I finish the main game I'll buy this dlc
Wait for sale! It's a glitchfest right now.
@Splat This is worrying. What are the issues and glitches, Splat?
@LiamCroft I can't progress any further because I can't talk to NPC I need to. Plus audio issues and pop in is awful.
@LiamCroft @Splat all fixed as of 09:00 this morning. All works fine now. Could've been due to the fact that we all seemed to have gotten access too early.
@LiamCroft @Splat Same issue I am having right now, I jumped to the Drone Mission and when you get to the safe house the MPC does not work. You can see a lot of players next to him lol, but I guess they will fix it ASAP, also issues with signing up, servers are getting maintenance, I see The Division account on Twitter being very active right now with the whole community, so that's good.
Well my evening is sorted!! Can't wait to jump back in!!
@Rick_Deckard this is odd as it was all fixed in the unplanned maintenance at 08:30 this morning.

@ankehuber sorry I meant last night mate, I guess I am still sleepy. US EST. But you're right, these issues were happening last night I played, thanks for letting us know, that it's all good for now, I did see the maintenance tweet.
COMPLETED] Maintenance - March 3rd, 2020
Fixing an issue that prevents the objective "Reach City Hall" of the WONY introduction mission from updating and teleporting players to a different location.
Fixing an issue that causes players who quit the helicopter cinematic to get placed into and stuck in Trinity Church.
Fixing an issue that prevents players from interacting with Community Leader NPCs.
Further backend improvements to prevent ECHO errors to occur for players.
@ankehuber The loading screen was improved, you can see right away that the cut scenes are way way better, seems to me that also the character itself has been overhauled, in terms of details, the menu and weapons new system mechanics are better I guess.
What do you think about the new changes?/
@Rick_Deckard once you get used to the new recalibration I think these changes are great. It does feel good having much more powerful enemies and not just mowing everyone down.
I hope you're enjoying it as much as I am
@Rick_Deckard admittedly it was hilarious watching everyone crowding round the NPCs in the safe houses
@ankehuber oh yes I am, I am having a lot of fun actually,
When I first saw all the players gathering around the NPC, I was like, Is He giving away weapons, mods, I mean it like a glitch haha!! so it was pretty hilarious.
@Shepherd_Tallon Are you a $3 dollar agent? haha! That's what the community has called the new agents because of the last Ubisoft price on The Division 2.
The one with the girl shooting the flare gun? Oh man, that's nice. It was pretty cheap too, Good choice my man, good choice.
@Shepherd_Tallon
@Rick_Deckard I want a patch for my agent with that on it, btw.
hahaha!!
Played the base game over the free weekend just gone. It was ok, but after my 15 hours or so with I was left a bit bored by it. Really enjoyed the first game, but always though the 2nd looked too familiar for me, and irpt felt that way too. A block from Washington looks the same from a block from New York to me when civilisation has broken down. Streets of overturned cars and so on. Mechanically it all felt solid, and I'm debating whether to drop the 8 quid it currently is on the PS store. Or wait until the next free weekend. I also hear that it could become FTP, but I'm not sure if that was just wild speculation or not.
I have been able to progress the story but still having audio issues. Nothing game breaking tho.
@JohnnyShoulder I feel the same. I got it for £8 and played it for about 2-3 hours before thinking " Yep, that's The Division!" and losing all urge to play it. Didn't help that the latest patch is 39GB and I don't have enough space, but even without that...
