Sports simulations are obviously entertaining enough, but we’ve been disappointed with the number of arcade adaptations this generation. Ganbare! Super Strikers sounds like a great alternative to FIFA, fortunately, providing a strategy-based soccer experience where you need to level up your team and unlock new equipment leading to special abilities.

The title first launched on PC a couple of years ago and is now dribbling its way to the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. In addition to a single player campaign which will see you taking a team to the top of the league, there’ll also be a local multiplayer component so you can compete with friends. There’s no fixed release date just yet, but you should expect the title towards the end of the month.
