World War Z might be one of the best supported PlayStation 4 games of 2019. Ever since it launched to decent reviews back in February, developer Saber Interactive has updated the game constantly for free with new maps, missions, weapons, and modes. It's an impressive list of additions, and it's about to get that little bit longer as Season 2 kicks off.

Titled Kill it with Fire, the second season of content starts today by adding two new missions to the Moscow and New York campaigns. Elsewhere, players can now get their hands on a flamethrower in-game and prestige their class once they reach level 30. This is said to unlock new bonuses that affect both gameplay and cosmetic skins. The game's creative director then wraps up by teasing a "small Halloween surprise" which has been added as part of today's PS4 update. You'll have to play the game itself to work out what that is.

Are you still playing World War Z, or are you impressed by its commitment to constant free content from a distance? Whichever one it is, survive the horde in the comments below.
