The Division 2 Raid Too Hard

The Division 2 got its long awaited eight-player raid yesterday, and it's incredibly difficult. Now, a sturdy challenge can be a good thing in a team-based title like this -- it can provide veteran players with a great opportunity to really strut their stuff -- but the general consensus seems to be that this mission is just far too hard for its own good. At least, on consoles.

Here's the rub: we all know that aiming with a controller is never going to be as accurate as aiming with a mouse and keyboard, and that appears to be one of the raid's biggest problems on PlayStation 4. As of right now, you and your whole team -- eight players, remember -- need to be near perfect with every single shot, particularly when it comes to downing the activity's supremely beefy bosses.

Even with your damage per second cranked to maximum, if you're not killing your targets with pinpoint precision, you're likely going to get overrun and taken out. Numerous posts over on the game's Reddit suggest that even the most prepared squads are finding it borderline impossible to get past the raid's first boss.

This has, of course, led to accusations that developer Massive Entertainment isn't properly balancing the game for console players. Naturally, this ties into the recent news that The Division 2 didn't meet Ubisoft's sales expectations, particularly on consoles. Put all of this together, and you've got the recipe for some angry posts on forums and social media.

Hopefully Massive can work something out and tweak the raid sooner rather than later. Until then, though, make sure you don't run out of ammo in the comments section below.
