Cyberpunk 2077 is set to take E3 2019 by storm in just a few short weeks, with CD Projekt Red stating that the show will be its "most important ever". It has now been confirmed that the upcoming RPG will once again be presented to the press, but the public will also get in on the action this time around.
CD Projekt Red's global community lead Marcon Momot took to Twitter to confirm the showings, as seen below.
He then goes on to say that these presentations will be open to both the public and the press this time around, although the showings will be different depending on whether you are a member of the industry or not. The game will also be played by developers, instead of those attending E3.
This comes off the back of its E3 2018 showing, which was only accessible behind closed doors. CD Projekt Red eventually released the footage to the world a few months later - stressing that it was an early build and that things could change. Some internet speculation suggested that a release date might be close if the game could be played on the show floor, but it's worth remembering that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was never playable in this manner during its showings at E3 either prior to launch.
Are you hyped for more Cyberpunk 2077 footage? Do you think we'll get a release date? Talk your way into one in the comments below.

Whenever you get a well hyped game I always like to think, "One day in the not too distant future they'll be a bunch of sticky copies of this game for £5.99 in my local CEX", and when I do that I can almost taste the heavy body odour suppressed by air conditioning.
i lost all intrest in this game when it went to 1st person mode.. should of stayed 3rd person imagine all the customization we could have done...
@kyleforrester87 Have you ever considered being a life coach Kyle?
@ShogunRok I did at one stage, but I looked around and just thought, man whats the point, you know?
F**k yeah! Any news about Cyberpunk 2077 gets me pumped like a juicer after 20 cans of Monster and a heavy sesh at the gym.
Expectations are high for this one for sure. The game has been in development for a while and CDPR has said it’s release date is “when it’s ready.”
I suspect it will be presented again at E3 2020 also, but I hope we have it in our hands before then.
@kyleforrester87 Wise words
@pimpjuice 100% with you on that. I generally dislike (read: rubbish at) FP games. If this had been Third Person I would have been all over it, as the setting etc seems awesome.
No worries. I expect someone will leak info about the closed-doors presentation regardless if there's anything juicy.
@kyleforrester87 duh of course it will be playa.everygame gets cheaper when it's due time dog.word ☝ up son
@pimpjuice the game was always fps mode so I don't know what are you talking about😴.word up son

@LiamCroft I just watched a quick video on YouTube by CD Projekt Red about their financials so far this year. In it he talks briefly about E3 and uses the sentence
'We have a truly exciting LINE-UP and cannot wait to present it'.
Maybe I'm reading too much into it but that wording would suggest more than one game to me. I'm thinking that maybe they are also going to reveal what the other game is.
@BearsEatBeets It would be pretty special if we saw that too alongside Cyberpunk, but they could be referring to Gwent.
@LiamCroft Damn you and your sensible and reasoned thinking!
@BridgeToClarity That doesn't mean they're going to reveal the game we don't know about at E3 though. Their line-up absolutely could be, and most likely will only be, Cyberpunk 2077 and Gwent.
