We didn't manage to get around to reviewing Root Letter when it released on PS4 and PS Vita back in 2016, but thanks to an enhanced edition going by the name of Root Letter: Last Answer, it looks like we'll get a second chance. It's apparently a pretty good visual novel, and it's coming to PS4 in the west later this year. You can get a sample of what's to come in the announcement trailer above.
Described as visual novel, you'll investigate the disappearance of your long lost pen-pal. "Follow in the footsteps of Aya Fumino, a school penfriend allegedly involved in a tragic murder 15 years ago. Explore the prefecture of Shimane, uncover clues, and use the letters you wrote to each other to track down her down".
This enhanced edition includes the original game along with an epilogue and numerous gameplay improvements. Perhaps the most interesting addition is a live action mode which will turn the game into an FMV-style experience. That's enough to seal our interest.
Will you be playing Root Letter over again with this enchanced edition? Do some sluething in the comments below.

A visual novel 😴 nearly had me hyped for some Japanese horror for a sec
@Kidfried I have it on Vita actually. It is a VN with an interesting story and some good artwork. Cool but nothing groundbreaking.
I have it in my vita backlog to play at some point. Meant to be really good. Annoying the vita version of this, like steins;gate elite, isnt being ported
Agree with @amusei: where is Fatal Frame (with PSVR support)?
