Fortnite Vending Machine Locations and What They Do 1

Vending machines are a brand new feature in Fortnite that provide you with in-game items in exchange for any materials you've collected. It's a pretty nifty feature that we can't believe wasn't introduced earlier!

But it's here now, and there are all sorts of items up for grabs if you're savvy enough to track them down. That's what this guide's for though – to provide a list of all of the vending machine locations in Fortnite.

We'll also explain how they work in case you're still unsure what the point in them is, and we'll include a few a tips and tricks to help you make the most of them. Happy vending!

How do vending machines work in Fortnite?

You can offer wood, stone, or metal materials, but you can only get one item per material offered per vending machine. In total, that's three items per vending machine.

The items on offer are randomly selected, but you can refresh them by hitting the machine with your pickaxe. We're not sure how many times you can do this per match though, so be careful.

Can I get weapons of any rarity from vending machines in Fortnite?

You can get weapons and items of all rarities from vending machines, though the higher the rarity the more expensive they are. Items increase in expense by 100 materials per rarity, so it looks like this:

Rarity Material Cost
Common 100
Uncommon 200
Rare 300
Epic 400
Legendary 500

You can't just pick whatever item or rarity you want though – you're totally at the mercy of RNG. If you're really not happy with the offerings, you can hit the vending machine with your pickaxe to refresh them though. We're not sure how many times this works, so be careful.

Where are the vending machines located in Fortnite?

Rather than list every single location, we're just going to include a map. We will include a tip though – when picking the vending machine to land near, bear in mind the materials you can get. It might be best to try and pick an area that has an abundance of all three materials.
