Capcom's crossover genre mashup, Puzzle Fighter, looks to be heading to PlayStation 4, according to PEGI. According to the listing, the game is due out today, 27th March 2018.
A mobile version of Puzzle Fighter was released on iOS and Android late last year, and we suspect that the PS4 version will be based on this. For anyone who hasn't played the free to play mobile game, it takes the core gem-matching gameplay from Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and throws in character leveling, loot boxes, and in-game purchases. We've embedded a gameplay trailer of the mobile version above to give you a better idea.
We don't know for sure if the PS4 port will have all the same features, but it's likely that the game's structure will be similar to that of the mobile game.

I wanted the old Puzzle Fighter, not the mobile one. -__-;
I downloaded it on my phone when it came out. Played it a few times and it was alright. I meant to come back to it a long time ago but I never did.
Anyone remember Puzzle Kombat from Mortal Kombat Deception?

Got exited whence first see this. I remember playing this loads on PS1 and loved it. Don't really want a new mob version with 3d character sprites and In game purchases/loot boxes. I was sold until I read this.
The original hates colour blinds and thus is literally a game I cannot play. Pass if this is the same.
Well if it drops in NA, I'll give it a go.
We'll see if it can top the Dreamcast port.
