Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption looks a lot like a more cartoony Dark Souls, but as it turns out, it's actually a boss rush-style game. "Face off against horrific enemies representing the seven deadly sins to atone for Adam's crimes. In order to challenge each boss, he must sacrifice part of himself, taking on debuffs that linger for the rest of his trials," reads the latest press release.
The title's looking a little janky in this new trailer, but it's still got a few months of development time left before it dodge rolls onto PlayStation 4. The game's due to release on the 25th April, 2018.

I need to see more gameplay I think, but it doesn't look bad.
Concept sounds cool. People skip most of the stuff between bosses in the souls games these days anyways. Soul Sacrifice PS4 when tho?
brand new gameplay of metro exodus.at vga tomorrow night word up son
I'm interested in the concept. Mainly because I really like the Souls games but would like them loads more if there was more bosses, less running past a bunch of rubbish enemies to get to the bosses.
Could be worth a look but if the recent Dark Souls remaster rumours are true then this may have to go on the back burner.
@adf86 We need the real King back Demon Souls way better.
I'm concerned it might have a bit too much of a B movie quality, but I definitely am intrigued.
Is this the sequel to Knack that we've been waiting for?
I'm not convinced.. it doesn't look very good.
Comparisons to souls always make me cringe now. Too many "Souls-like" games misunderstand the heart of that series. This seems like another one of those.
