There are no shortage of horror games on the PlayStation 4, but there’s always room for one more as far as we’re concerned. That’s good news for Korean developer ROI Games, then, which is bringing cult horror White Day: A Labyrinth Named School to Sony’s new-gen system this August.
“It’s the story of new Yeondoo High School student Hui-min Lee, who finds himself trapped in school overnight and chased by possessed killers and malevolent ghosts,” global community manager Bryce Hsiao explained on the PlayStation Blog.
For those who don’t know, this game originally released in Korea all the way back in 2001, but it’s being remade from top-to-bottom for the PS4. “You can expect it to feature all your favourite survival horror features, including tricky puzzles, resource-based health and save mechanics, stealthy, torchlight-fuelled exploration, and item management,” Hsiao added.
Obviously this looks like a relatively low-budget affair, but if the scares are there…

I like the write up you gave it better than the trailer, which is a let down. Hopefully it offers something fun and unique!
This is from Pqube so we have a retail chance.
@Flaming_Kaiser Yessir. I'm pretty confident there will be a retail release.
I actually really like the art style. Looks promising
Watching the trailer had me thinking "was this a ps2 remake?" Then I read your comments. Makes sense, being originally from 2001 and they didn't seem to deviate much from that Era. I'm sure it has to do with a low budget too. It seems like a future psplus freebie or a deep discount pick-up.
