Street Fighter V: the best game ever made that doesn't want you to play it. Capcom's brawler is brilliant in the ring, but unless you're a pro player looking to practice online, then there ain't much to do. Finally, though, things will improve in September with the addition of a VS CPU mode. Well, it's a start, right?
Also on the way in September are Daily Targets, as well as Fighter Profile updates – maybe they'll work as intended now? – and free colours for Season Pass holders. And that's not all: starting 16th August, an update will be rolled out to fix the release's rage quitting issue, so you'll finally be able to fight without the threat of losing progress.
Essentially, those who pull the plug will get League Points deducted, and will be locked out of online matchmaking for a brief period of time. Capcom hopes that this tweak will significantly reduce the number of sore losers, though it also mentions that it's busy beavering away on a more robust system for release next year.
Last but not least, the publisher's scheduled a Double Fight Money event for 2nd September to 4th September, which will allow you to multiply your earnings in Ranked Matches. More information will be announced closer to the date, but it's nice to see the company at least attempting to draw people back to the game.

Starting to think Capcom has a team of about three people working on these updates.
@ShogunRok They probably do, mate. The rest of the team are all working on numerous Resident Evil remasters.
You know what has all the necessary content at launch and then some? King of Fighters XIV.
Capcom could do a better job with the whole rage quit thing. I had people to quit on me in Casual matches.
Starting Aug. 23rd SFV gets dethroned by the King of Fighters. 2 lil 2 l8.
@sinalefa
Reports on the early release retail copies of KOF 14 is that the online is pretty rock solid as well.....which really isn't all surprising after KOF13 steam edition.
If your a SF fan you should at least give KOF 14 a try this year.
To little to late.
Over half a year to let you battle the computer? What a joke.
At least it's coming. But I've moved on to other games now- I'll player but it's going to have to go into the backlog pile. I really hope they learn from this and never release in incomplete game again.
On a more positive note, King of Fighters XIV is looking to deliver.
I hear everyone mention King of Fighters with every anti Street Fighter comment... My only hope is that everyone walks the walk and actually supports King of Fighters so it can be relevant even after 2 weeks. As cool as it is to hate on Street Fighter, it's still the premier fighter and draws the most viewers at big multi game tourney's . Hopefully more people can look out of their box and support KOF as well.
ok I start to think I am getting what I paid for, a full retail game 59.99 dll, hell , I bought it at launch and I felt very disappointed, I like Capcom, I used to love them, but I just can't understand why they released an incomplete sfv, I don't want to be so negative but remember driveclub? a garbage game that became gold by the time but in my opinion it was late, evolution disappeared, I dont think Capcom will go anywhere soon but man this sucks, Capcom is failing and falling so hard.
This is way to late, should've been ready within weeks of launch and now everyones moved on to other games. They should repacked the game and launch again as they got nothing to lose.
I guess Capcom forgot the subtitle for their game> SF5: Early Access
This reads like it's the option to play single matches against the computer, when what people are really asking for is a full-fledged arcade mode, with sequential battles, boss fights, and specific rival battles, cutscenes, and ending for each character.
So nope, still not good enough.
I'm surprised anyone cares at this point
Tempted to pick this up now, but I dunno.
I thought this was coming out like 3 months ago. Oh dear.
@sajoey This! was so great with SFV i sold it and now that will go towards KOF Will wait for a complete edition of SF unless they never add Akuma or Sagat then il stick to SFIV
