Geralt's at it again, adding yet more trophies to his now massive collection. The official PlayStation Blog's Game of the Year winners are in, and it's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that's walked away boasting several victories across multiple categories.
The post reports that over 600,000 votes were counted, making it the biggest Game of the Year event that the site's ever hosted. CD Projekt Red's superb role-playing game scooped PlayStation 4 Game of the Year, while Bloodborne, Fallout 4, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain filled up the top four in that order.
There were a ton of different awards up for grabs, so you may want to take a seat before reading through all of the winners, which we've included below. Do you agree with the voting public? Feel free to rant in the comments section.

As it should...
Glad to see resident evil get a little love even if it is the vita version. I really loved that, possibly the most fun I had on ps4 this year.
So, have they announced a GOTY edition yet? Maybe another game they can bundle for the holidays?
I really like the ranking system, Plat/Gold/Silver/Bronze, makes sense, and they get to advertise 4 games rather than the standard top 3 G/S/B.
That said - Uncharted 4 not being on the "Most Anticipated 2016" list is highly suspect. And "Best Digital Release" should either include almost every game, as thy are all available digitally, or be renamed "Digital Only". Hey, if they can come up w/ the unwieldy "PS4 Console Exclusive Game" to put on a box, they can add "Only" to the category.
@rjejr
No, the second DLC / expansion is due this spring......will probably get a Witcher 3 GOTY version during the second half of 2016.
CD Projekt Red also has a history of updating graphics for new releases, so they might release a definitive version as well.
@rjejr I just asked @get2sammyb about Uncharted. Turns out it was excluded because it won last year's most anticipated game. Same with Persona 5. Seems stupid, but there you go.
A couple I struggle with like BO3 getting silver on PS3 - Only worthy of that IF 3 games released! I don't know how they judged the most anticipated games either. Dark Souls seems more 'niche' and the Division hasn't exactly appeared much on many peoples 'most wanted' list either. I would have expected Uncharted 4, Mass Effect or even Final Fantasy (even though I personally don't like it) to be above most of these.
Can't believe how blatantly they stole PushSquare's Platinum/ Gold/ Silver/ Bronze trophy format for their GOTY competition!
@sub12 I read about half of this article thinking it was about the new DLC, so I'm thoroughly confused, even for me. And advertising a collectors edition before the DLC would be bad form. This game wasn't enough for me to buy a PS4, but I am really looking forward to playing it. All of it, when they announce it's finished, whenever that may be. I'm sure I'll own a PS4 by then.
@ShogunRok "Seems stupid, but there you go."
Thanks. Needless to say I agree w/ you more than them.
PlayStation Plus winners include DLC, a prologue and a season 2 even though we ain't seen season 1. This is how pants PS Plus is.
Good to see Life Is Strange in a few of those categories.
