If you were expecting your selection of PlayStation Plus goodies to be announced sometime this week, then you may want to hold your horses. SCEE employee Fred Dutton has said that it's aiming to reveal the roster next week, with a rollout of the free software likely on Tuesday, 6th October. It's more Super Time Force Ultra for you, then.
We know that punishing platformer Super Meat Boy is likely to be one of the titles, as a PlayStation.com update pegged it for a 6th October release earlier in the year, while the developer has already confirmed that it will be part of the Instant Game Collection. In all honesty I'm not that bothered. It's got to the point now that anything that's merely "good" is a nice surprise.
I'd have paid a fiver for super meat boy anyway so I'm happy with that. Due to MGS and Destiny I've not even played any of last month's games.
As far as predictions go, I'd say it'll be more stuff we've not heard of on Vita and PS4, and something really old on ps3. MGS HD collection on ps3 would be nice, but I can't see it happening.
@Johnnycide I enjoyed STFU and Xeodrifter - found La Mulana tough to get into but might go back to it at some point.
Despite all the praise it got, I've actually really not enjoyed the time I've spent on Grow Home so far. The frame rate has a tendency to noticeably dip, and the actual gameplay itself just isn't very interesting so far. I will play through to the end of it as it seems short, but yeah I definitely don't see what all the fuss was about.
I always look forward to the PS+ updates as I like getting shiny new things for my Vita. The rest tends not to get all that much of a look in though, especially with MGS V firmly lodged in my PS4!
Assassins creed Black flag would be nice.
Im interested to see if its a bit more mixed, without the same old weve being seeing these last few months.
Maybe some nice action slashers or something like Risk.
I doubt it but always remain hopefull.
I'd quite like Little big planet 3 since it's one of the few PS4 games I haven't already bought.

Metal gear solid HD collection for PS3 is a food shout and will tie in well with phantom pains release! Bar that I'm not really bothered these days what they release.
Well, considering that I just got a PS3 and right now it's basically a Fighting Game and Musou Simulator... maybe more of those games?
between mgs5, tearaway and destiny I've enough to play until Christmas. In the event I do pick up Fallout 5 at launch I'll have that, too. So, basically...whatever, it's all good.
It's go to have to be something great to pull me away from The Witcher DLC, Uncharted Remastered, and WWE 2K16. I can't wait for October!

So many games in my back log. The pile keeps getting bigger. The problem is that my favorite games are often ones where you can dump hundreds of hours into them. Right now it's DA:I, which I've played for almost 400 hours so far. I'll probably hit 500 hours by the time I'm done with the game, if I end up going in with a Qunari warrior in a new run. After that I want to play as many games as I can before FO4 comes out...
@jonny_aces Food shout? Happened to me once when my wife ran off and I had her mobile in my pocket. I was eating a cone chips at the time. Obviously shouted her and food went everywhere.

Wish we can get a AAA game month we haven't had 1 since MGS V Ground Zero .It would be cool to get Infamous Second Son or EA Sports UFC .Now I'm not saying give AAA games every month because that takes time and money but most of the psn plus community agree with me and want at least 1 AAA game.
@themcnoisy no need to bribe me with Turrican comparisons mate, STFU is pretty good! I played about 10 mins the day it was released, but I've been so busy with Destiny and MGS that I just haven't had time for it.

I've always wanted to see Killzone Shadow Fall come to the collection. Not to mention I think Sony is due to bring a AAA game to the scene.
i don't know if guilty gear xrd sign was available free in Canada and the u.s.a yet but i know it was in japan. If i had to pick one i would love to see guilty gear because i missed out in July for japan. Plus i think it is a AAA title and im sure it will bring alot more peoples interest in those style fighting games. I feel guilty gear and blazblue type of games dont get enough attention here
Would personally like to see LBP3 - looks like it'll be Assassin's Creed IV but that was the first game I got with my PS4 so less exciting for me. Good game though! Killzone 3 would also be pretty cool.
Not really interested in Super Meat Boy - got it on PC and never really clicked with it. MGS Collection on PS3 would be friggin' awesome though!
